Preparing for Your Pet's Stay

Welcome to JC Pet Care: In-Home Pet Boarding and Day Care. To ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable stay for your pet/s, please review the following information and guidelines 

 

1.  Health and Vaccination Requirements:

• Ensure your pet is up to date on vaccinations for our area. Dogs: Rabies, Bordetella and DA2P/CPV (Distemper, Adenovirustype2, Parainfluenza, and Canine Parvovirus). For cats: Rabies, RCP and FeLV (Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia and Feline Leukopenia virus).

• Flea and tick preventative treatment is required.

• Your pet should arrive parasite free.

2.  Food and Medication:

• Provide a few extra meals for the duration of your pet's stay, labeled with clear feeding instructions.  Leave your Bowls at Home.

• Provide any necessary medications, along with detailed administration instructions.

3.  Personal Items:

• Bring your pet's bed and or blanket, for familiarity and comfort.

• If you wish, you may provide a favorite toy or chew stick to help reduce stress and anxiety (no stuffed toys).

• Clearly label all belongings with your pet's name.

• Any dog over 20lbs should arrive with a collar.  Preferably a Martingale.  

4.  Emergency Contact Information:

• Provide up-to-date contact information for yourself and an alternate contact.

• Include your preferred veterinarian's contact information and any relevant medical history.

5.  Behavior and Socialization:

• Inform us about your pet's behavior, temperament, and socialization level with other animals. 

• Provide information on any specific triggers or habits we should be aware of.

6.  Drop off and Pick up Times:

• Drop off between 7am and at least 2hours before dark.  Pick up: 7am -8pm

• Confirm your drop-off and pick-up times to ensure a smooth transition.

• Notify us as soon as possible if there are any changes to your schedule.

7.  Payment Options Include: Cash, Card, Check, PayPal or Zelle.
